I am a low income, first-generation college student and immigrant from China.

I came to the United States when I was 13 years old, a country where creativity is not valued completely...which made me the odd man out. Now, I aim to inspire more of the people to see the value of intrinsic thought and manifesting their own destinies - to be rebels.

Social Media Strategy & Creative Intern | 2018

As a social media intern and an intern project lead for Havas Chicago. I was planned and implemented social media ad plans and digital strategies across a number of accounts

Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities included:

  • Social Media Strategy development to increase ad performance and budget reallocation to top performing platforms, audiences and placements, as well as campaign restructure

  • Identified the best performance ad placements and reallocated fund to drive the highest and most efficient result rate.

  • Optimized and managed Orbitz clients’ accounts social media ads performance weekly (Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat & Reddit).

Campus Representative | 2017

As a campus representative, I was responsible for educating consumers on Dell products and the advantages of the brand, promoting the sale of Dell products while networking on and off campus to generate buzz and increase brand awareness. Our objective was achieve - increased on site sales +10% YOY.

  • Created and executed innovative marketing plan with a budget of $15,000 resulting in sales increase of +10% YOY

  • Designed a series of integrated marketing campaigns including email, print, digital, outdoor and social media to gain 74,500 brand impressions over the course of four months

  • Increased awareness of the Dell brand on the university campus and provide informed product recommendations to key contacts, groups, and organizations to influence purchasing decision

  • Initiated and developed re-branding marketing campaign with creative graphic designers, web developers for Undergraduate Student Government, securing 20 % public brand awareness over one month

  • Deployed innovative marketing and advertising strategies to increase membership by 67%

  • Facilitated panel discussions with keynote speakers to address students' academic challenges and encourage professional growth on campus and beyond
